Dr. Michael Taravella introduces the Sharpoint EndoGlide(tm) inserter for ultrathin tissue loading / insertion during closed chamber DSAEK surgery. Dr. Taravella also describes a "double pass" microkeratome technique which results in consistently thin donor tissue of approximately 75 microns. Dr. Taravella is a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Colorado.
