KAM Communications

On behalf of Mediphacos Ltda. (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), we would like to invite you to learn about Mediphacos’ new generation of acrylic IOLs, the MFR2, at the upcoming Pan-American Congress of Ophthalmology meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina (7-9 July, 2011). Due to take place at Centro de Convenciones Costa Salguera, the PAAO meeting will also play host to the Encuentro Panamericano de Cirujanos Keraring.

The MFR2’s innovative design offers excellent long-term stability and precise refractive results. The four flexible haptics adapt to the capsular bag with optimal fit to bags of all sizes. Designed to avoid tilting and optical torsion the MFR2 provides equalized compression force as the capsular bag contracts.  “Our philosophy at Mediphacos is to evolve, and the introduction of a new IOL is a natural progression  in providing surgeons with the latest advancements to optimize the accuracy and safety of IOL surgery outcomes,” Said Marcelo Soares, President of Mediphacos.

Mediphacos will be sponsoring the Encuentro Panamericano de Cirujanos Keraring, a symposium highlighting the latest advances in corneal remodelling technology.  The evening will feature talks by international experts who will share their experience with Keraring intrastromal corneal ring segments for keratoconus and other corneal ectatic disorders. The symposium will take place Friday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m. Sala/Room 6. Symposium registration is available at the Mediphacos Booth (327C).

To discuss all the latest developments, please visit Booth (327C) to speak to one of Mediphacos team members.
