Canon USA recently launched the latest version of its imageSPECTRUM Image Management software (version 5.1).
The new software version features an opacity suppression feature — a selectable filter tool aimed to make it easier for ECPs to view images with ocular opacities, such as the effects of cataracts. The filter allows the viewing of images that would have previously been rejected by correcting blur and enhancing the clarity of blood vessels, providing a clearer picture for identifying disease and disorders.
