Yesterday, ArcScan, Inc. announced a partnership with Cedars/Aspens — a not-for-profit society of anterior segment surgeon educators — to further develop and initiate clinical studies to gather data using ArcScan's Insight®100.
Insight 100, which is an FDA 510(k)-cleared precision ultrasound device for imaging and biometry of the eye, is indicated for refractive surgery planning and evaluation of anterior segment pathology. The partnership with include close collaboration between ArcScan's technical, clinical and management teams and Cedars/Aspens members to help continually evolve Insight 100 to improve patient care, treatment and outcomes.
