Journalists can book 30-minute time slots to discuss novel solution for the treatment of presbyopia
Lake Forest, CA, USA – At the upcoming meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS 2013), ReVision Optics will offer journalists the opportunity to schedule time to meet with company officials and ophthalmologists to discuss current results with the Raindrop™ Near Vision Inlay. Time slots can be reserved on Saturday (April 20th) and Monday (April 22nd) from 8:30am to 11:00am. Sessions will be held at the Restaurant LuLu – Café Room, 816 Folsom Street, approximately an 8-minute walk from the Moscone Center.
The Raindrop Near Vision Inlay is designed as a surgical option for near and intermediate vision enhancement. During an out-patient surgical procedure, the inlay is placed in the cornea of the patient. The inlay microscopically changes the shape of the corneal surface to correct for presbyopia. The Raindrop is comprised of approximately 80% water and is bioengineered to facilitate the physiologic transport of nutrients and fluids within the cornea.
