YAG Laser and SLT (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty)

Both Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) and YAG laser treatment are used to treat medication conditions within the anterior segment of the eye. SLT is a type of laser surgery used to help lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in glaucoma patients, while YAG lasers can be used in both glaucoma and cataract surgeries. Some of the devices below offer ophthalmologists both SLT and YAG photodisruption capabilities in one unit, helping to cut down on the space required for multiple devices.

DescriptionOptimis Fusion combines traditional YAG photodisruption treatments and advanced SLT photoregeneration therapy in one integrated platform. The Lumenis Selecta® Duet™ represents the industry's most advanced anteriorsegment laser, combining the advantages of YAG photodisruption capabilities along with the innovative Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) technology, which was The Lumenis Selecta® Trio™ represents the next generation of multi-modality products, offering retinal, cataract and advanced glaucoma therapies in a single platform. The unit's integrated design, enhanced optics system and advanced laser cavityTango Reflex™ from Ellex combines multiple treatment platforms — SLT for glaucoma, premium capsulotomy and posterior membranectomy – in a single laser system. Featuring an intuitive tablet user interface, the multi-modality Tango Reflex™ allows you Whether you’re seeking to treat glaucoma, or you’re performing capsulotomy or iridotomy procedures, Tango™, with its fully featured SLT laser and its powerful, precise YAG laser, will enable you to secure the results you and your patients are looking
FeaturesQuantel Medical’s proprietary technology is based on an engineering breakthrough, which enables infrared and visible green nanosecond pulses to be produced by single dual-mode cavity: 532nm and 1064nm.
This last technology reduces complexity and results in a more elegant, advanced combination laser platform.

Optimis Fusion includes convergent optical path allowing an optimized visualization of both anterior and posterior segment, a better visual comfort, combined with a blue-free LED illumination.
