PRN PharmaFarm, LLC Opens New Virtual Incubator For Ophthalmic Start-Ups

April 26, 2011 - PRN PharmaFarm LLC (PharmaFarm) proudly announces the opening of the PharmaFarm virtual incubator. The new service is designed help establish new ophthalmic start-ups by providing consulting services and filling short-term personnel positions. It includes a rich network of ophthalmic development specialists that can help build a solid foundation for start-ups and allow advancement of their new products towards regulatory approval.

Companies accepted into the virtual incubator will receive eight hours of consulting time from each of the four founders and one participating consultant selected by the start up. Members also will receive a 10% discount on the purchase of up to seven additional hours of consulting services from each of the founders and from participating consultants.

“We are very excited about the new virtual incubator,” Dr. William Stewart said. “It is our hope that this program will provide ophthalmic start-ups with the tools necessary for developing a solid groundwork, and to give these companies the opportunity to grow successfully.”

PharmaFarm provides important contacts, personal expertise and experience for the various business- and research-related issues facing ophthalmic companies interested in establishing and maturing their company and product. The company was founded by William C. Stewart, MD, Jeanette A. Stewart, RN, Mark Testerman and Mario Fsadni, MBChB, MRCOphth.
