The newest lens on display at Volk’s booth, 429, is the G6 Gonio, a six mirror lens that delivers sweeping images of the anterior segment, without any gaps. No lens rotation is required; a full view can be seen by quickly scanning across the mirrors. Volk's "nf" (no flange/no fluid) design does not require viscous interface solutions. For handling flexibility, the G-6 comes with a ring or a 2-in-1 handle for a straight or 45° angled grip.
Also featured will be Volk's Digital Series lenses for both BIO and slit lamp use. Providing the highest resolution for noncontact imaging, the Digital family increases general diagnostic capabilities and shortens exam time. To upgrade 90D lens capabilities, Volk recommends the Digital Wide Field® with the widest, high resolution field of view imaging past the vortex. The Digital High Mag® improves on a 78D lens with true 3D views of the retina and disc. Volk has also improved its 20D lens offering with the Digital Clearfield for detailed mid and far peripheral retinal views.
