Clip-On Telescope Provides 2.1x Magnification In A Flip-Up Design!

Eschenbach Optik of America, Inc

(Ridgefield, CT – September 30, 2010) Designed for patients who want the benefits of an "off the shelf" near telescopic system but who have a refractive error, the MaxDetail Clip now allows them the opportunity to do so with its unique clip-on design! The MaxDetail Clip has many of the same features as the popular MaxDetail binocular Galilean system for near (2.1x magnification, hands-free design, large working distance, wide field of view, etc.), but its clip-on design allows patients to be able to incorporate their correction so that they can view a clear, magnified image. And, unlike the MaxDetail, there is no focusing required to adjust for spherical correction!

The clip has a number of features that maximize its usefulness. First, there are 5 vertical lens heights from which to choose to assure correct pupil alignment. Second, the convenient hinged clip mechanism allows the lenses to be flipped up out of the way when not in use. And third, rubber-covered "jaws" prevent the clip from scratching your patient’s eyewear.

The MaxDetail Clip is ideal for reading books or newspapers, the print on computer screens, or for other extended near tasks such as hobbies and craft work.
