Eschenbach Optik

Ridgefield, CT – July 31, 2010 For visually impaired patients who want and electronic magnifier that uses modern touch screen technology, Eschenbach introduces the new Quicklook 2. Manufactured by Ash Technologies, this new video magnifier features a dual camera design that allows it to be used for reading and writing (with the flip-out camera) as well as for spotting (with its center-mounted camera). Plus, the magnification can be changed (and other features accessed) by simply touching the screen! The Quicklook 2 is ideal for reading menus, magazines and prescription bottles, for writing and doing crossword puzzles, and for viewing objects a short distance away such as products on a shelf of a supermarket or posted menus at a fast food restaurant. The magnification ranges from 1x-24x (depending on which camera is used) and there are over 56 viewing modes to choose from to allow patients to select the option best suited to their visual needs. The Quicklook 2 also features autofocus cameras, freeze frame capability, a Lithium Ion battery that lasts 5 hours and a zippered carrying case.
