A group of researchers have found that adults infected with the Zika virus may be putting their vision at risk.
Doctors in Brazil reportedly witnessed a male patient in his 40s injected with Zika who developed uveitis. Although the patient recovered, researchers found it was the virus that caused the condition. Through their research — published in The New England Journal of Medicine — the researchers want to educate other practitioners to be aware of potential eye issues caused by Zika.
