August 8, 2014 – Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota Eye Consultants, a leading health care organization serving the Twin Cities region, is pleased to announce the official opening of their new facility* on August 20th, which will include a full service ophthalmology clinic as well as an outpatient-only ambulatory surgery center. The combination of these two components will enable patients to see their doctor and receive outpatient surgery, when necessary, all under one roof. The 31,000 square-foot new facility is a gut renovated, 53-year-old office building, located in Minnetonka, designed by local architects BDH & Young.
The Ambulatory Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility, allowing surgeons to provide the mot comprehensive ophthalmology and reconstructive surgeries in a convenient, comfortable setting. Services provided will include: cataract surgery and premium lens implants, glaucoma treatment, iStent, iLASIK laser vision correction, corneal collagen crosslinking, treatment for dry eye, ocuplastics, corneal transplants and many more.
